Christina Whitson

Hello and welcome to the Transitional Kindergarten class page! My name is
Christina Whitson and I am excited to be part of the St. Joseph Catholic School
family. I am a Pinole resident and graduated from Pinole Valley High. I have a BA in Child Development from Bethany University. I taught Kindergarten for 13 years at El Sobrante Christian School. Prior to that, I taught 3rd grade for five years.

I love teaching...it is my dream job! I am honored to get to do what I love for a living. I just got married this year to my 1st grade classmate! Together we
have 4 grown children, 1 teenager, and 4 grandchildren who are the loves of
our life. We also have a new baby together. His name is Marley and is a
Frenchie puppy. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my
family and friends. I also enjoy reading, sewing, quilting, crafting, eating out,
going to the movies, traveling, and going to the beach.

I am looking forward to partnering with the parents and families in my class
this year in educating your children academically, socially, emotionally, and
spiritually. It will be an exceptional experience that we will navigate together. It
is my goal to provide a safe, nurturing environment that makes learning fun and
